Building Science Week - Zero Energy Homes Osprey Home Tour - Westport Island, Maine
4-6pm, Nov. 6

See how ZEH uses off-site modular manufacturing to build attainable net zero energy homes with 80%+ Maine and regional building materials. Tour our in-process home build featuring the Osprey home model on Westport Island, speak with ZEH builder Ryan MacEachern of Maker Construction, and receive a short presentation on our home production ramp up at our new Wiscasset manufacturing plant. 

The Westport Island home has additional features from the standard Osprey, including a mudroom, cedar clapboards, and a finished second floor. When the build is complete, it will have 1554 square feet of finished living space. The homeowners are doing a lot of the finish work themselves, which reduces the home cost through “sweat equity”—a good option for people who want to lower the price of the home and are interested in DIY building. This unique Osprey floor plan is now available to all ZEH customers. We hope you will join us!
