Zero Energy Homes Pricing Overview
Noon, Aug. 19

Making all-electric homes more affordable is central to our mission. In this webinar, we will share the Zero Energy Homes pricing tool, looking at the standard pricing of the 2-bedroom/1-bathroom Osprey and 3-bedroom/2-bathroom Fox Den home models. We will explore standard addition and subtraction options, from roofing types to mudrooms, to understand how they impact price. We will also discuss creative ways to lower costs by completing some of the finish work yourself through “sweat equity.”

The webinar will conclude with a discussion and Q&A. This is a great session for people who have already had an introduction to the pricing tool and need a refresher, or people who are not ready to meet with Zero Energy Homes 1:1 but would still like to learn about pricing information.

On the Roof with Ryan
Noon, Sept. 9

Do you want to know more about how we build Zero Energy Homes? Are you curious about the mechanics of double-stud wall construction, why insulation values are measured in Rs, or how our homes generate their own heat? Get answers straight from our builder Ryan MacEachern, who oversees each homebuild from end-to-end.

This one hour Q&A session is an opportunity to explore a wide range of topics, from modular homebuilding to how our homes achieve net-zero performance. Bring your technical, challenging, and even silly questions and we will break the building science down into manageable pieces. The owner of Maker Construction, Ryan has more than 25 years of experience in Maine homebuilding, including general contracting, running field sets, and implementing lean projects in home manufacturing facilities.
